Mintdesigns Fall/Winter 2011-12

Mintdesigns was launched in 2001 by fashion Japanese designers Hokuto Katsui and Nao Yagi, graduated two both from Saint Martins. Their new collection called  “Fashion Surgery” before  the earthquake and tsunami in Japan was sub-titled “A New Hope” after the disaster. The show was presented at the amazing place TABLOID in the Tokyo bay (you can see this place and the show in the video below). The collection is based in simple geometric shapes such as circles, squares and triangles and is full of rainbow colors, considering it was done for the Fall/Winter season. Mintdesigns added a futuristic theme to their comfortable and relaxing clothes with the interesting abstract and illuminated LED head-pieces.
